Sedation Dentistry

We understand that it is too difficult for young children to understand and endure a dental procedure. With the sounds, tastes and fear of pain normally associated with a dental visit, a child can develop negative reactions toward going to the dentist. Other factors that can elicit increased stress for a child include the need for several dental restorations (fillings, bonding, crowns, etc.) and the need for multiple office visits to complete these restorations. We offer sedation dentistry for our more apprehensive patients. Sedation dentistry not only helps anxious patients relax, but also increases their cooperation needed for successful, safe treatment.

We offer different levels of sedation based on the needs of your child. With oral sedation (conscious sedation) we are able to help ensure your child will feel as comfortable as possible during their dental treatment. Dr. Singh or our associates will evaluate your child to determine the best type of sedation should be used for your child.  Dr. Robert Shoun provides oral sedation from our White Knoll office for those patients who need it.
